Pablo Fernández Berrocal, Ph.D., is Professor of Psychology, Vice-president and Co-founder of the International Society for Emotional Intelligence, and Founder and Director of Emotions Laboratory at the University of Malaga (Spain). He has authored or edited sixteen books and published more than 120 journal articles and essays, focused primarily on human emotion and emotional intelligence. Director of the research areas of analysis of individual differences in EI, new ways to assess EI in children and adolescents, and design of customized training programs for improving people’s EI.

Natalio Extremera, Ph.D., is Assistant Professor of Work and Organizational Psychology and research scientist in the Emotion Laboratory at University of Málaga (Spain). Coordinator of the research areas of positive strengths and well-being and training of professionals aimed at helping people to manage, lead and work effectively with others. Co-author of Spanish validation of Emotional Intelligence Test (MSCEIT). Collaborator and author on more than 100 scholarly publications in different national and international scientific journals.
